Center for Software Consultancy and Development (CSCD)
The Center for Software Consultancy and Development (CSCD) at HIET has been established with the ambition to discover and nurture the technical abilities of students. The centre functions under the guidance of HIET with the objective of enhancing students' technical knowledge, soft skills, entrepreneurial abilities, and teamwork.
The centre acts as a platform where students' ideas are transformed into innovative software solutions under the guidance of experienced trainers and technology experts. Besides fulfilling the software development needs of the institute, CSCD also provides technical assistance and software development opportunities for Computer Science students.
Major Development Activities
The centre has developed the Academic Management System (AMS), an ERP solution for the institute. The system consists of the following modules:
- Student Attendance System
- Academic & Examination System
- Student Information System
- Student Login Module
CSCD also manages and maintains the official website of the institute. The following projects are currently in the development pipeline:
- Online Examination System
- HIET Alumni Portal
- Android-Based Academic Management System (AMS)
