Center for Software Consultancy and Development CSCD at HIET is initiated with the ambition to unearth and harness the technical skills of students. It flourishes under the auspices of the HIET, with its intention to develop the technical & soft skills, entrepreneurial skills and work in group qualities of the students. The center, where the inputs from the students are processed to obtain brilliant outputs, is guided and supported by the trainers and leading technology development experts. It addresses not only the technology developing needs of the institute but also provides technical assistance and technology development for computer science students as well.

The centre has undertaken the task of developing the AMS- an ERP system for the institute, which includes the modules like: Student Attendance System, Academic & Examination System, Student Information System and Student Login Module. Center is also looking after the website of the institute. Other projects in the pipeline are Online Examination System, HIET Alumni Portal and Android Based AMS etc.

To utilize the existing infrastructure and to satisfy the current software automation needs of the institution and also to provide an opportunity to students to work in an organized team structure and timelines.

To provide an opportunity for budding engineers in actively participating in the software development process and provide students a standardized platform for building up proper entrepreneurial skills.

To undertake software development works from external agencies and provide best quality services in time. The center will also undertake college related computerization and automation works.
