The Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology is a lively and invigorating academic centre for higher education, research, and innovation in key areas of computing.
Hi-Tech Institute of Engineering & Technology offers B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering with an annual intake of 180 and B.Tech in Information Technology with an annual intake of 60. The department serves the needs of the ever-growing technical knowledge in the academic, research and training areas. The department has a sufficiently large infrastructure with many ambitious projects in pipeline for near future. Our specialty is our experienced, energetic, dynamic IIT qualified M. Tech and PhD faculties. This full equipment procures all graduates of Computer Science Engineering find excellent placements in top ranking global companies.

I am extremely happy to introduce and welcome you to the department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)/ Information Technology (IT) at Hi-Tech Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ghaziabad. The under graduate program of CSE/IT has started its journey in 2006 with the idea to equip young minds with technical skills, along with ethical values, so that they can make a meaningful contribution towards the development of country in the field of computer science.
Computer Science and Engineering is undoubtedly one of the fastest growing streams within the country as well as beyond the geographical boundaries. Department places emphasis on all the important aspects of computers such as Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mobile Communication, Algorithm Design, Operating System, Advance Database Systems, Theory of Computation and many more.
Department takes the initiative to improve the soft skills, verbal communication and analytical capabilities of the students so that they can face the competition in the corporate world confidently.
We offer our students the best hands-on experience, intellectual collaboration, research prospects, social impact projects, industry linkages so that they get the best of placements and also contribute to social growth.
We believe that this approach to teaching-learning, coupled with practical experience gained during Industrial Training in reputed organizations, equips our students to handle the challenges posed by the IT industry. Students of Computer Science are placed with top IT companies.

Software Development Cell
The SDC looks at development of new projects which provides an opportunity to students to work in an organized team structure and timelines. Within their project teams students have the advantage of working as a software engineer in different verticals and can have an exposure to the complete life cycle of software development.

Code Spint
It is an Android and Ethical Hacking Workshop and Championship, in Association with Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi HIETians have a momentous opportunity to be exposed from world class technological event in the concurrent global IT buzz in android & ethical hacking with cyber laws in our campus encompassing a full day program. For the first time students and faculty got the opportunity to interact with experts in this area & got real time project development with in-depth conceptual knowledge. Competition is organized based on which winners are declared who in turn participate in further rounds at IIT Delhi and then at the national level in another premium city. All participants get a participation certificate from the organizers (IIT Delhi).

Info Victus has organized coding competition at Hi- Tech campus on many occassions , in association with Hacker Rank, in which more than 200 participants participated from various college across the NCR.
InfoVictus Society (Society of CS Dept.) has organized introduction talk for YES!+ program of Art Of Living for the maximum benefits of students of all branches .
InfoVictus Society (Society of CS Dept.) has organizing a donation program for an orphanage along with CS 3rd year students.
The InfoVictus Society of HIET (CS Dept.) has conducted a intra college coding competition Code Spint at Computer Lab and 236 (Two Hundred Thirty Six ) students of different branch BCA, MCA, B .Tech. CS has been participate.
Dept. of Computer Science students team (Himanshu Sharma CS 3rd, Shubham CS 3rd , Vaishali Agrawal CS 3rd ) has been participated in Code Hunt (a CODING Competition) event conducted by IT department of Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Campus, Sector-125, Noida (U.P.) – 201313.
The team HIET competed more than 50 teams of NCR region including Jamia Hamdard University many more and archive SECOND POSITION in overall.
The “Gambade” organized by Dept. of CSE on various occasions. It comprises interview based questions on latest IT Technologies.
All shortlisted 32 candidates in Quarter final Round, of CSE/ MCA final year students, are Participated with full enthusiasm and competitiveness.
This also helps students in preparation for various technical interviews.

The Dept. of CSE has been closely associated with following companies for in-house training programs and thereafter assured placements upon successful execution of the trainings. These companies have a “Centre of Excellence” office dedicated to them on campus.
