B.Tech. (ECE) & B.Tech.(EE)

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering were established in year 2006. The Electronics and Communication department has acquired expertise in the area of VLSI Design, Signal Processing, Wireless Communication and Networks, Optical Communication and Networks, Antenna and RF System Design and Embedded System Design. The Electrical department has acquired expertise in the area of Power Electronics & Drives, Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Machines, Switchgear & Protection, High Voltage Engineering, Control System & Instrumentation, Electrical Networks, and Electrical measurement.

State of art Laboratories have been set up in department for undergraduate courses and are well equipped with computational facilities and resources both in terms of hardware and software.

Faculty members have undertaken many funded research projects, sponsored by the government and renowned Research and Development organization. Apart from teaching and research, the faculties are actively involved in organizing technical workshops, industrial visits and camps to create an environment conducive to experimental learning.

Students are encouraged to take parts in various international and national project competitions and won many awards.

Students are given broad opportunities for relevant skill development apart from regular academics in order to make them competitive and industry ready. Technical trainings are also provided by industry experts to meet the requirement of industry and also beneficial for national for higher studies. The department also conducts faculty development programs regularly for improving the teaching and learning quality and involved in the society development programs to make impact on its development and awareness.

Eligibility

The students who had passed 10+2 in any recognized board of education are eligible for B.Tech CS & IT Admission in colleges.

Admission Process

Admission to B.Tech.(ECE) and B.Tech.(EE) branches can be secured through entrance exams or merit base.

Direct Admission

Direct admissions are done on the basis of merit in qualifying exam. Some institutes also provide admission on management quota, which is also one way of direct admission. Management quota seats in every college are reserved. Fee is generally higher for these seats than general seats.

Entrance Test

After taking entrance test conducted by various universities, qualified students are called for counseling. Counseling is conducted for seat allotment in various colleges under that university. Admission is done after allotment of seat in counseling.
